Once you’re in, we lock in your date and go over collections. A non-refundable retainer (aka the session fee) holds your spot, and yes... we offer 0% interest payment plans for your images/collection purchase. Pay in full or split it up... we’ll make it work. From here, it gets real exciting, real fast.
02
You’ll get a full prep guide covering everything: outfits, skincare, grooming, and what to bring (and what to leave behind). No guessing, no overthinking... we break it down so you feel fully ready.
Plus, you’ll come in for a wardrobe consultation where we’ll nail down your outfits, accessories, and sets. Consider this your stress-free style game plan.
03
On session day, you’ll walk in camera-ready... hair & makeup all done up, or everything left natural, all of it done your way.
You’ll already feel like you. Not like someone who just spent two hours in a chair. Not like some fake version that someone else designed. Not like someone you don't recognize. You'll feel like YOU. You'll look like YOU.
04
We’ll confirm the outfits we selected at your consult and then dive right in. Don’t worry, I’ll pose you head to toe... you don’t need to know what you’re doing, and you’re not expected to feel confident right away. That’s my job... to guide you, hype you, and make sure you look like a damn force. Expect laughs, music, maybe some cursing (the fun kind), and a lot of magic.
05
Right after the shoot, you’ll see your images the same day. We’ll go through them together and you’ll choose your favorites for your album, wall art, or digital keepsakes. No weeks of waiting, no “I wonder how they turned out.” You’ll leave knowing exactly how powerful you look... and yeah, you might cry (in the best way).

A lot more than most studios pack into a session fee. Here is everything covered from the moment you book to the moment you walk out of your reveal.
Before your session: wardrobe and shopping guidance with curated ideas and direct links. A wardrobe consultation 3-6 months out where we plan every outfit, accessory, set, and vibe together. A customized packing list, a get-ready checklist, and full access to the client closet in sizes S-5XL.
During your session: one full hour of private studio time and expert posing guidance through every movement, expression, and angle.
After your session: a same-day private photo reveal and professional retouching on every image you select. The session fee is due at booking, is non-refundable, and is separate from your image investment.
Images and products are separate from the session fee and are pre-purchased as a collection before your session. Our minimum investment is $990, designed for someone who wants to try boudoir before going all in. Our average client invests around $3,500.
Our most popular collection is the Indulge at $4,600. It includes a 40-image diamond album with privacy case and the corresponding digital collection. It is the one most women point to when they say "I want that." Full pricing is available at our pricing guide.
Yes, and you have options. The session fee of $750 is due at booking and is not part of the payment plan. Your collection can be paid over time at 0% interest through our in-house payment plan. It must be started within 30 days of booking and paid in full at least 30 days before your session date.
We also partner with Affirm, Klarna, and Afterpay for those who want to get started right away without waiting.
Since we are currently booking through December 2027, an in-house plan gives you up to 17 months to pay. The Indulge breaks down to under $271 a month. Even the $990 minimum is just $58 a month or $14 a week. Booking further out is not waiting. It is planning smart.
Absolutely, and it is one of the most thoughtful gifts we see come through. The session fee makes an unforgettable gift for a birthday, anniversary, bachelorette, milestone birthday, postpartum celebration, divorce party, or honestly just because she deserves it and you know it.
Reach out directly and we will put together something special, whether that is a gift certificate, a note to include, or help figuring out the best way to present it.
A few things worth knowing before you buy: the session fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Make sure she is genuinely someone who will use it and feel celebrated by it, not someone who will feel pressured or uncomfortable. The experience works best when she actually wants to be there.
Earlier than you think. We are currently booking sessions through December 2027, which means you could be locking in a spot up to 18 months from now.
Here is why that actually matters beyond just getting your preferred date: the wardrobe consultation happens 3-6 months before your session, so booking early gives you the longest possible runway to prepare, shop, and feel completely ready before you ever walk through the door. It also gives you the most time to spread your collection payments out, making the investment as manageable as possible.
Most clients wish they had booked sooner. The date that feels far away now will be here before you know it.
Always, without exception. The client closet runs from S to 5XL for a reason. Every pose, every set, every lighting choice in this studio is built around making your specific body look incredible on camera, not fitting you into a template designed for someone else.
You do not need to lose weight first. You do not need to tone up. You do not need to wait until you feel more ready or more worthy of this. Women of every size, age, shape, and story have sat in that reveal chair and completely lost it over their images. That is not an accident. That is the whole point.
Hair and makeup are not part of the session fee, and that is completely intentional. You can come fully glammed by your own artist, fresh-faced and natural, or anywhere in between. There is genuinely no wrong answer here.
The goal of this entire experience is that you actually recognize yourself in your photos. Not a heavily filtered, over-contoured version of you. Not someone who spent three hours in a makeup chair looking like a stranger. You. The real, actual you, just seen clearly for maybe the first time.
That said, if you want to bring a glam squad or book your own MUA, absolutely do it. If you want recommendations for artists in Kansas City who understand the assignment, I have a short list of people I trust and will share them when you book. Whatever makes you feel most like yourself walking through that door is the right choice.
Not necessarily, and definitely not without guidance. The client closet is stocked with lingerie, robes, and accessories in sizes S-5XL, so you can pull entirely from there, bring your own pieces, or mix both. Most clients end up using a combination.
During your wardrobe consultation, we plan every single outfit together before your session day. We talk about what you want to feel, what sets appeal to you, what you already own that might work, and what might be worth picking up. You leave with a customized packing list that tells you exactly what to bring and why it will work on camera.
No showing up with a bag full of things that photograph terribly. No last-minute panic the night before. No guessing. That is what the consultation is for.
The wardrobe consultation is one of the most underrated parts of the entire experience, and yes, you should absolutely do it.
We meet at the studio 3-6 months before your session and go through everything together: outfits, accessories, sets, the overall vibe you are going for, what you want to feel when you look at your images. I pull from the client closet, look at what you are thinking about bringing, and we build your session from the ground up so nothing is left to chance.
You leave with a customized packing list that tells you exactly what to bring and how to prepare. The goal is that by the time session day arrives, you feel completely ready, not anxious, not scrambling, not second-guessing every choice you made at 11pm the night before your shoot.
It is included in your session fee. Use it.
After booking you will receive a full get-ready checklist that walks through everything step by step. But here are the basics:
Stay hydrated in the days leading up to your session. Get a real night of sleep the night before. Avoid anything that leaves marks or impressions on your skin the day before, including tight waistbands, socks with elastic bands, underwire bras, and anything that digs in. Those marks take time to fade and can show up on camera even hours later.
On session day, eat something real before you come in. Drink water. Give yourself enough time to get there without rushing. Bring everything on your packing list. And then let go of the rest, because everything from that point on is handled.
That is the most normal thing in the world and also genuinely not a problem here. Almost every single client walks in nervous. The ones who seem the most confident at the start are usually just better at hiding it.
You do not need to know how to pose. You do not need to know what "sexy" looks like on your face. You do not need to have done anything like this before. I coach you through every single movement, every expression, every angle, down to where your hands go and which way to tilt your chin. Nothing is left to "just figure it out."
Most clients are laughing within the first fifteen minutes and walking out an hour later saying "I can't believe I just did that." You are in good hands. That is not a reassurance. That is just what actually happens.
As much or as little as you want. Some clients go topless or implied nude. Others stay in bodysuits, lingerie, or oversized sweaters the whole time. There is no expectation and no pressure. We talk through your comfort level before the shoot so everything feels fully in your control. Sexy does not have a dress code.
One studio rule that never changes: bottoms always stay on. Topless is completely fine if you are comfortable with that, but bottoms are on for every client, every session, no exceptions.
How much skin do I have to show?
What if I'm nervous or awkward in front of a camera?
How do I prepare leading up to my session?
What is the wardrobe consultation and do I have to do it?
What do I wear? Do I need to go shopping?
Do I need to get my hair and makeup done?
After your session wraps, we move into your private reveal right here at the studio. It is just the two of us, relaxed, unhurried, and completely low pressure.
We go through your images together, as many times as you need, until you know exactly which ones you love. There is no rushing through a slideshow and handing you a price sheet. We take our time. Most reveals run about 20-30 minutes, but we have up to a full hour blocked so you never feel pushed out the door.
This is your red-carpet moment. You just did something incredibly brave and the images are going to show you exactly what everyone else already sees. Take it in.
Once you have chosen your favorites, you will select your collection and we handle everything from there.
Every image you select gets professionally retouched before delivery. Here is exactly what that means.
We clean up the real-life stuff: blemishes, bruises, razor burn, temporary redness, anything that would be gone in a few days anyway. If it can be covered in five minutes at a dermatologist, we edit it out.
What we do not do is body shaping, slimming, smoothing out curves, or altering your actual appearance to make you look like someone else. That is not retouching. That is lying. And the entire point of this experience is that you finally see yourself clearly, not a digitally sculpted version that makes you feel like your real self is not good enough.
You are already enough. The retouching just polishes what is already there.
Sharing your images is entirely optional and completely your call. There is no requirement, no pressure, and no expectation that you will post anything, share anything, or allow anything to be used anywhere.
If you are open to having your images featured on the website, social media, or in the portfolio, that is something we can talk about and you would sign a separate release for. Model releases are only required during specific model calls, not as part of a regular session booking.
Your session, your images, your decision. Full stop.
Just you and me. The studio is private, female-only, and designed to feel like a genuinely safe space from the moment you walk in. No assistants hovering in the corner. No second shooter you have never met. No one else in the building.
It is intentionally intimate because that is what actually makes this work. You cannot fully let go when you feel watched by strangers. Here, it is just us, and that makes all the difference.
Digital images are delivered within up to two weeks of your session. Physical products, including albums, folios, and wall art, are delivered within up to six weeks. During the holiday season, physical product timelines extend to up to eight weeks, so if you are planning a gift or a specific date, factor that in when you book and we will make sure everything lines up.
We will walk through all of this at your reveal so you always know exactly what to expect and when.
Yes, absolutely. Couples sessions can be sweet, spicy, or anywhere in between, and we will talk through the vibe you are going for before we ever pick up a camera. We will also carve out time for individual shots of each of you, because sometimes the solo images end up being the ones you cannot stop looking at.
Our one non-negotiable: bottoms stay on for everyone, always. Ladies can go topless if they are comfortable with that. But no full nudity for either partner, no exceptions. It is a boundary that keeps everyone comfortable and the experience feeling intentional rather than explicit.
Trust me, it still gets steamy. The best images usually do not show everything anyway.
"She made me feel so comfortable, beautiful, and confident" ... "If you haven’t booked a shoot yet, do it. You won’t regret it."
You don't need a reason. You just need to say yes.
"My experience with Lastphoto.kc was phenomenal from booking to the photo review!" ... "beyond pleased with my choice!"
Unfiltered. Unapologetic. Unstoppable.
"Laura made me feel so comfortable while getting the pictures taken and continued to hype me up!" ... "I would recommend her over and over!"
You’ve spent years pouring into others. Now it’s your turn.
